Congratulations to all of the pupils from Bishop Murphy Memorial School who made their Confirmation on April 11th! Thanks to all who helped in the preparation for Confirmation including class teacher Ms O'Connell and sna Celia, and to Bishop Crean and Fr Boyle who officiated at the ceremony.
Last Thursday we had a Bake Sale in school to help in our fundraising initiatives. The student council guided by Ms Hogan put on a great show. Luca Cy, one of our 6th class pupils recently signed for Cork City FC U13 Team who will play in the inaugural U13 League of Ireland which kicks off on the 17th March. We had a Christmas Fundraiser recently in the school for a past pupil who was diagnosed with cancer. We managed to collect €280. Everyone wore their Christmas Jumpers in solidarity. It was a fabulous day. Have a look at a selection of photographs from the day.
