As a digital school of distinction, Bishop Murphy School is committed to its digital strategy and to continuing to enhance its digital infrastructure. This summer we have bought 15 new iPads, thanks to parent-funding and a Department of Education grant. A new iPad management system, using software called ZuluDesk, is also being rolled out on a trial basis. If successful, it is hoped to have this up and running in all iPads next year. The school has also invested in a SMART interactive panel for the new classroom. This is a step up from our current SMART boards, as it has its own browser and app store access and is no longer reliant on connecting to a laptop/desktop. It also has many other useful features which will assist the teacher in providing an enriched and interactive learning environment for the children. Interesting times ahead!
