The Rainbow Room had a great time celebrating Science Week, which ran from the 8th to the 15th of November. During the week we did a range of experiments, such as building towers of Lego to see who could build the tallest one, making rafts for our furry friends to float on and exploring how wet skittles make beautiful, colourful designs. We watched how a candle will rise up in a jar of water once the candle has burned the oxygen in it and, probably best of all, we made foam and fake blood using lemon juice, baking soda and food colouring. We learned a lot, but more importantly we reminded ourselves that science can be such fun!
